Rotary has always supported the Wurtsmith Air Museum by hosting the associated pancake breakfast offering free breakfast to the pilots flying in and open to the public to enjoy the breakfast with seeing all the planes that fly in. Rotary donates $1 from every breakfast to the air museum.   The weather was nearly perfect for Saturday which brought our adult breakfast count to 133 with 23 planes coming in and serving 15 pilots.

Sunday, although overcast, still brought in hungry customers as we served 48 adults and 10 children.  We did serve four pilots who braved the weather and flew in from Muskegon.

We received many compliments on the breakfast and many were impressed by the organization and professional delivery of the event.  These remarks were due to the dedication and hard work of Mary’s crew.  Can't thank them enough.

From Friday afternoon set-up to Sunday take down, Rotary thanks to the following.  You helped make this weekend's pancake breakfast a success.

A special thanks to Dave and Jennifer Beauchamp who stepped up and helped us with the transport of totes and grill from the storage units and Elizabeth (Liz) Mahlmeister, dear friend of Jim and Kathy Kent who offered to help in their absence.  Rotary touches many hearts!!

We also had the O'Loughlins from the newly formed Tawas Rotary Club.  They have a special tie to the WAM.
