Oscoda Rotary Club and Oscoda Area Schools host local Family Fun Fair
The Family Fun Fair is a free event which brings local human service and community resource organizations, and typically welcomes hundreds of visitors each year.  It returned to Oscoda for its 22nd annual event on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

The Fair is held at the Oscoda High School in the gymnasium and also expanding to the halls and cafeteria.  It is hosted by the Oscoda Rotary Club and Oscoda Area Schools (OAS).  Dr. Jim Kent has been leading the organization of the event for years and expects another year of many families attending.

Service organizations that have typically attended include Early On, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, various Food Banks, Northeast Michigan Community Service Agencies and local churches.  He says “It is designed to present local services and resources for families and young children”.  There are many interactive activities for the children and families.  Prize drawing occur throughout the event and a Food Bank truck is available for those seeking additional food for their household.

The event is free and a lunch is provided for all attendees.  There is also free swimming in the pool located in the High School.
